Echocardiography
Echocardiography is the reference examination in veterinary cardiology. It allows to visualize with precision the different cardiac cavities, the valves and the large vessels and to evaluate the functioning of the heart.
This examination, carried out by a European specialist, allows in the vast majority of cases to determine the origin of a heart murmur, and to identify the underlying cardiac pathology. We have a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine dedicated solely to cardiology which allows us to carry out a quality examination (Doppler echocardiography).
In practice, this painless examination is performed on the animal lying down and does not require anaesthesia.
