Electrocardiography and Holter examination

Electrocardiography is used to diagnose rhythm disorders that are frequently encountered in cardiac diseases.

In some cases, a recording of the heart rhythm over a longer period of time is necessary (Holter examination). A small box is placed on the animal and records the animal's heart activity for 24 hours. This test is usually performed at home.
