As an academic department, the members of the Department of Anaesthesiology are involved in many basic and applied research projects.

Our current clinical study projects 

• Study on the extension of sciatic and femoral block with the addition of dexmedetomidine.
• Study on the effectiveness of a maxillary block to improve patient comfort during retrograde rhinoscopy.
• Study on the efficacy of continuous infusion of fentanyl or sufentanil to manage intraoperative analgesia in the patient undergoing TECABO surgery. 
• Study on the efficacy of prokinetic agents for the treatment of post-operative ileus in horses.
