Our vision for your pets..

The imaging department carries out radiographic and ultrasound examinations of animals of all species, as well as CT scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of pets, new pets and equines.

The team is made up of 7 senior radiologists, including 5 European specialists in veterinary medical imaging (ECVDI), 7 junior radiologists in training, 3 technicians and two secretaries. All medical imaging examinations are carried out using modern, high-quality equipment, in compliance with strict radiation protection regulations.

Each year, the department performs and interprets around 9600 imaging examinations. The department is available for diagnostic imaging examinations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for patients admitted to the CVU's specialty units.

Services offered

Pet care

Every year, around 7,800 pets are examined in the imaging unit. Most of these patients are dogs and cats, but new pets (rabbits, ferrets, rodents, reptiles, birds, etc.) are also regularly presented for imaging examinations.

Large animals

Every year, around a thousand large animals are examined in the imaging unit. Most of these patients are horses and ponies, but donkeys, cattle and small ruminants (including alpacas and llamas) are also regularly presented for imaging examinations.
