Consultation
Urinary incontinence - consultation
In order to best prepare for your pet's visit, we advise you to make an appointment with your veterinarian ten days before our consultation, in order to carry out a urinary analysis and culture. Medical imaging examinations with contrast and urodynamic tests cannot be carried out if your pet has a urinary tract infection. Your pet must also have been fasting (water allowed) since the evening before, as some examinations require a light anaesthetic.
As we want to be able to give you a diagnosis at the end of the consultation, we suggest that you carry out all the additional tests on the day of the consultation. As a result, the consultation will last several hours, as it requires ultrasound, X-rays with contrast and urodynamic tests.
