ADC referer un cas

We offer two main services:

  • handling emergencies (24/7, 365 days a year)
  • receiving animals for specialised consultations (typically for animals referred by their general veterinarian).

In order to optimise the care of the animals and to facilitate communication with the owners, we propose to follow a few key steps in order to ensure the proper transmission of information.

Cases referred for specialist consultation or emergency :

  • For specialist consultations, please use this referral form. Please note that this form only serves as a transfer of information. To make an appointment at his or her convenience, the owner can send an e-mail to or call 04/366.42.00.
  • In case of emergencies, we also recommend that you call us directly on 04/366.42.00 to ensure that your pet is well received.
  • Refer the animal to a discipline and not to a particular specialist, as our colleagues' schedules may vary over time.
  • Explain to the owners that you are referring a case to us for a full treatment and not just to carry out specific complementary examinations. Our team will always discuss openly with owners what further investigations are possible and desired, and the costs involved.
  • Please inform the owners that the CVU is a university clinic. Therefore, their pet will also be seen and examined by a student, as well as by a veterinary specialist and veterinary students. The waiting time is therefore a little longer than in a private clinic.

We will keep you informed of the different results and treatments by phone or email.
